Pre-conception & Parenting
Becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest gifts, while at the same time, can also be one of life’s most challenging responsibilities. Before bringing a child into the world, it is important to do the “inner work” so that you are not inadvertently passing down generational or childhood belief systems that may have an adverse impact on your child. As a parent, we have a responsibility to care for our child(ren) to the best of our ability. If there are things that you are struggling with in life such as addictive patterns, inner conflict, negative emotions, & belief systems that are not in alignment with your higher truth, wants & needs, you can almost guarantee that you will unconsciously pass these hindrances down to your child(ren).
To understand how hypnotherapy works it is important to understand the power of our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is where 90-95% of our consciousness operates from. When we have destructive, toxic, & unhealthy thoughts programmed into our subconscious mind, we end up running our conscious daily lives off of this “faulty code”. This faulty code then tends to take over all aspects of our lives; mental, physical, emotional, etc. Similar to the genetic DNA code that you pass down to your child in utero, you can unintentionally pass down this subconscious programming to your child if your daily “programs” are running on “faulty software”.
In order to prevent our children from becoming recipients of our faulty code, it is essential for parents to restore the “DNA data” of the subconscious mind to the wholeness in which it was created in order to transmute the old subconscious programming into beliefs & behaviors that support your goals, enhance your relationships & create positive lasting change.

Therefore, doing the inner-work to mitigate any negative thought patterns, traumas, stress, anxiety, fear, sadness, etc. before pregnancy can be very helpful for both mother & child during pregnancy. Hypnotherapy is a safe & effective therapy to do while pregnant & can benefit parents & child(dren) at any time during pregnancy & parenthood; although, it is important to note that before or during the first five to seven years of childhood are the most crucial in the development of a child’s body, brain & subconscious programming. This is the time when the majority of a child’s subconscious mind & beliefs are formed. From birth to seven years of age, a child is like a sponge, soaking up every observation of his/her parents, their reaction(s) to the world & relationships around them. Therefore, before bringing a child into this world, hypnotherapy can be a powerful process for expectant & new parents; helping to release any discordant patterns/habits/addictions, negative emotions & belief systems, fears, trauma, etc. so that the subconscious programming you are passing down to your child is that of peace, love, & joy.
If you are already into the parenting years with a child between the age of zero to seven, it’s never too late for hypnotherapy to help both you and your developing child. *When a child reaches the age of five, if a child is struggling with subconscious programming that has been passed down from or influenced by his/her parents, then hypnotherapy for both child & parent may be recommended to help shift both the subconscious programming in the parent & the subconscious programming that has been formed in the child. Depending on the needs of the child, hypnotherapy for the child alone can also be very beneficial, & as mentioned above, children as young a five can have great success with hypnotherapy.
Conception & Infertility/Fertility
Hypnotherapy is a powerful modality to help with conception & fertility, as the subconscious mind (which is what we work to transform in hypnotherapy) plays an influential role in your ability to conceive.
Infertility &/or miscarriage can be a traumatic & taxing experience. Knowing that the mind/subconscious mind can have a direct effect on the physical body, we use hypnotherapy to help reduce stress, anxiety, sadness, guilt & feelings of the like at a deep level where the subconscious mind resides. Helping you to alleviate any unserving thoughts/emotions/beliefs/patterns, etc. that may be blocking you from conceiving.
Once the discordant energies of the mind are dispelled, hypnotherapy works to transform the mind-body though boosting your positive thinking & visualizations, ways of being, feel-good emotions, & confidence in your body; with the aims of bringing your physical body back to balance so that it can do its perfect work & can focus its energy on what it needs in order to bring it back to wholeness. From this wholeness it is like starting on a fresh slate towards your journey of getting pregnant, having a fresh perspective & the support of the mind-body in order to create a hospitable environment for pregnancy.

Pregnancy & Childbirth
Pregnancy can be an emotional roller coaster. The stress alone over the concerns of your developing baby can take its toll (on both the mother-to-be & child). Hypnotherapy can help mitigate morning sickness, insomnia, stress, anxiety, fear & other discordant thoughts, feelings &/or distress to help both you & your child during all stages of the pregnancy, so that you can better connect with your child & provide a harmonious environment for your child in the womb.

Therefore, having a more relaxed mind-body creates a more peaceful & favorable environment for the child in the womb, while also creating a harmonious environment for the mom-to-be to be more present & connect fully with her child during the early stages of development. After we have created a peaceful pregnancy environment, we work together to manifest the same experience for the birthing process so that you & your baby can have a joyful, peaceful & nurturing birth experience.
Having a strong & healthy body-mind is instrumental in childbirth. Hypnotherapy helps to train your subconscious mind in preparation for childbirth by visualizing the birth experience & the delivery of your child in a confident, smooth, peaceful & calm manner. I also teach you powerful self-hypnosis techniques for relaxation & pain management to settle the nervous system & calm the mind during labor, birth & postpartum. Positioning the mind to help control perceptions & expectations during childbirth is also part of the process.
My hypnotherapy for childbirth method is not a course, rather I cater my sessions, techniques & offerings based on each client’s individual needs, as I do with all of my hypnotherapy methods.
Hypnotherapy for the birthing process is suited for both moms-to-be & fathers-to-be/partners & involves helping to release any fear or anxiety around childbirth while equipping you to move through your birthing day with calm & clarity. Bringing a child into this world along with the birth experience is a sacred day & should be treated as such. My hypnotherapy for childbirth method will support you to be wholly connected to the body-mind so that you can be grounded & present in your birthing experience.
Whether you are birthing in a birth center, home, or hospital, medicated or un-medicated, hypnotherapy can help with each parent’s individual needs.
Postpartum
Helping you to deal with the challenges of the many emotional & physical changes during & after pregnancy so that you can connect wholly & heartily with your child in and out of the womb. This includes hypnotherapy & self hypnosis techniques for postpartum self-care such as pain management, relaxation, balancing emotions, breastfeeding support for increasing lactation, & parent/child bonding.
Having a new bundle of joy to get to know can be the most joyous days of your life, while it can also be the most challenging. The transition of a new baby can be physically demanding & mentally challenging but hypnotherapy can equip you during this important phase with mindfulness & balance, helping you to stay grounded & centered so that you can focus on connecting with self & baby.
Prioritizing needs is important when living off of limited sleep & managing the physical demands of breastfeeding/bottle feeding & caring for a newborn. Being equipped with self-hypnosis techniques can help provide you with physical balance & energy at a deeper level to power through your day with mindfulness & joy while providing peace in the present moment so that you can get to know your newborn & witness the unique characteristics & development of your child.
My Process
As stated above, my hypnotherapy for childbirth & parenthood method is not a course, rather I cater my sessions, techniques & offerings based on each client’s individual needs, as I do with all of my hypnotherapy methods.
That being said, I use a variety of techniques & resources coupled with other modalities (such as reiki & aroma-therapy) during the process of working together. You can choose to implement hypnotherapy &/or the other modalities I offer to support all aspects of childbirth & parenthood or to just focus on specific areas such as pregnancy & childbirth. The extent of the process is entirely up to you.
Bringing a child into the world should be a joyous & momentous occasion. With this in mind, hypnotherapy can be a rewarding & invaluable mechanism in achieving your goals during this pivotal journey.
